UNDERWATER MUSEUM
The Atlantic Museum of Lanzarote is located in the bay of Las Coloradas, south of Lanzarote. It is the work of the British artist Jason deCaires Taylor and is the first underwater museum in Europe, there’s two already, one in Mexico and one in the West Indies.In a extension of 2,500 square metres we can find more than 300 figures, some of the models used for the sculptures of the Atlantic Museum are neighboring the island of Lanzarote.
LAS COLORADAS
Entrance from the boat 12-18m. We descent to the sand and find a reef. Under the reef, we will see loads of different animals. Giant anemones with beautiful colors and many kind of shrimps. Leaving the reef at the right hand, we will discover a way through to cross the reef. Under the reef there are plenty of Comb gropuers, Dusky groupers and soles of breams. When we ascent again over the reef, we will see plenty of barracuda and jacks chasing the bogues.
PLAYA FLAMINGO
Entrance from the boat or the beach 0-18m. It is a very easy dive and so beatiful because of the big soles of grunts, breams, mullets, bogues, tunas, jacks and barracudas. On the white sand is very easy to find also stik rays, angel sharks and electric rays and inside the wall of rocks we can look for the groupers, and many other species.
PLAYA PAPAGAYO
Entrance from the boat or the beach. 0-18m. It is a very easy dive and so beatiful because of the big soles of grunts, breams, mullets, bogues, tunas, jacks and barracudas. On the white sand is very easy to find also stik rays, angel sharks and electric rays and inside the wall of rocks we can look for the groupers, and many other species.
