C\u2019est le premier mus\u00e9e d\u2019Europe. 2 autres ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 au Mexique et aux Antilles. Le mus\u00e9e s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 2500m2. L\u2019\u00e9tendu de sable blanc sert de rep\u00e8re pour les castagnoles rouges, les requins ange et la raie papillon.
