Five of every 100<a title=\"Dive tourism in Lanzarote 2014\" href=\"http:\/\/www.datosdelanzarote.com\/Uploads\/doc\/Turismo-de-buceo-en-Lanzarote-2014-2015032414501530TURISMO_BUCEO_2014_LANZAROTE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> tourists who visited Lanzarote in 2014<\/strong><\/a> were to go diving. And the figure soars in the summer. A few days ago, joined us in Native Diving Costa Teguise <strong>Television Canaria news cameras<\/strong> to talk about this phenomenon.<\/p>\n<p>Currently there are twenty-five <strong>diving schools in Lanzarote<\/strong>, which indicates that it is a very booming activity.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.67&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.67&#8243;][et_pb_video src=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/evaJjvfaWcs&#8221; play_icon_color=&#8221;#002C5B&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.21&#8243; max_width=&#8221;50%&#8221; max_width_tablet=&#8221;100%&#8221; max_width_phone=&#8221;100%&#8221; max_width_last_edited=&#8221;on|tablet&#8221; module_alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; global_module=&#8221;210879&#8243;][\/et_pb_video][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.21&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Discover Scuba<\/h2>\n<p>We call &#8216;<strong>diving baptism<\/strong>&#8216; or &#8216;sea baptism&#8217; to the first dip made by a person who is preparing to be a diver. It is often said that this first immersion serves to decide if diving like us or not, and beyond, to see if we want to <strong>get a scuba diving certification<\/strong> or not.<\/p>\n<p>In our case, <a title=\"Discover Scuba\" href=\"https:\/\/nativediving.com\/en\/discover-scuba-padi\/\"><strong>the baptisms consist<\/strong><\/a> of a discussion of basic training, after which divers wear the scuba gear and go to the place of baptism, ready to plunge.<\/p>\n<p>They dive with a <a title=\"Scuba BCD\" href=\"http:\/\/www.padi.com\/scuba-diving\/padi-courses\/about-scuba-gear\/buoyancy-control-devices-(BCD)\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>vest (BCD, buoyancy control device)<\/strong><\/a> which houses a 10 liter tank, with the faucet connected to the regulator and pressure gauge, that tells us the remaining air.<\/p>\n<h3>Corals, sponges, colorful&#8230;<\/h3>\n<p>Much of divers with whom we share experiences come from the <strong>United Kingdom, but also dive with Germans, Dutch, French<\/strong>, and in August also Spanish. Overall, about 100,000 divers come to Lanzarote a year, dipping to discover the underwater depths of our paradise: many caves with corals, sponges, many color, many marine animals and, above all, great adventure and fun.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In our island, the dive tourism is being consolidated as an important source of attraction for visitors.
